Absolutely beautiful church with a history going back to 1894. I've never seen a better fellowship hall. Good energy in this expanding congregation. The choir and music is powerful. The choir is situated behind the altar which is a first for this visiting Southern Catholic. The pastor is like a spiritual paramedic, engaged, and energetic. We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary and received a remarkable private blessing from the pastor. What a treasure this church and congregation is to Bostonians. This is a great place to make soul restoring memories.
It is a wonderful church that is welcoming to all. Beautiful space with a beautiful service. I was warmly welcomed there when I brought visitors from Pitsburgh. They loved it too.

This must be one of the best catholic communities I have ever been to. It is extremely welcoming to all, and very active, with regular events from the social and racial justice group, the Rainbow ministry for LGBT+ catholics, and a vibrant young adult community. Besides this, Father John brings real life to the Mass. Not only is he a brilliant speaker, bringing every-day current event issues to relevance in his homilies, but he is also incredibly personable, warmly greeting each member of the congregation personally, and making all feel appreciated and welcome. On top of it all, the church is located next to the Berkeley conservatory, and so we are always treated to the best of musical accompaniment for each service.
